On this Thanksgiving Sunday, what are you thankful for? When we are urged to count our blessings, we usually count our material blessings. But we should not forget all the spiritual blessings in Christ. What are they? Paul counts some for us in the first chapter of Ephesians: 1) God chose you as his people 2) God adopted you as His children 3) God redeemed you and forgave you 4) God revealed to you a mystery 5) The Holy Spirit marked you for inheritance in God’s kingdom. These are greater blessings than all the privileges of this world ! Let us count all the spiritual blessings in Christ and give Him heartfelt thanks.
