Easter Sunday 2023: “Is Anything Too Difficult for God?” (Hebrews 11:1-5, 13-22)

The hope of resurrection is not unique to Christians. The Old Testament people knew that their God was the Almighty Creator who kept his promises. Though they did not receive the promise, they knew that even death cannot prevent God’s promises from coming to pass. When God promised the birth of Isaac, God asked Sarah, “Is anything too difficult for God?” The birth of Isaac enabled Abraham to believe that God can do all things, even raising the dead. Today, God is asking us the same question. Where in your life can you use this resurrection faith?
