March 16: “A Quiet Time with God” (Romans 12:1-2)

More than “how” we go about a quiet time, I want to focus on “why” we practice it. According to our text, we have a quiet time to be “in view of God’s mercy”; second, “not to conform to the pattern of this world”; and third, “to be transformed by the renewing of the mind.” Then, we will be able to discern God’s will and offer our bodies to God as living sacrifices.
