Corinthians grew up with Greek philosophy and had a problem with the idea of a bodily resurrection. But Paul argues for the resurrection of our bodies. We will not be raised with the same kind of perishable bodies. But our bodies will be transformed. After the resurrection, Jesus had a transformed spiritual body. We will be raised with spiritual bodies that are imperishable. The bodily resurrection means that what we do for God with our bodies will count for eternity. Every day, let us offer God our bodies as living sacrifices.
