The most strategic city in Paul’s third missionary journey was Ephesus. Paul stayed there for two years, devoting himself to teaching God’s Word. As a result, many Gentiles in and around Ephesus became Christians. Paul’s ministry had so much impact that it caused a riot in the city against him. The followers of Artemis rose up against the followers of Jesus Christ. As we follow Christ, what idols are we clashing with in our lives? What are the idols in our city? How can we topple these idols?
