In chapter 6, Paul deals with two issues: greed and sexual immorality among the Corinthian Christians. Both greed and sexual immorality belong to our old sinful nature. But we were washed, sanctified, and justified by the blood of Christ. We must now live out our new identity in Christ. As a new creation in Christ, we are to stop doing wrong out of greed and learn to do right. As a new creation, we use our bodies to honor God, not for sexual immorality.
