In Leviticus, we are commanded to be holy as God is holy. God gave us two gifts to make us holy: the tabernacle and the Torah (the law). The first part of Leviticus is concerned with the worship of God at the tabernacle. The second part is concerned with living a holy life according to the Torah. In the last chapters of Leviticus, God confirms our reward for pursuing holiness: finding our way back to Eden and dwelling in God’s presence. The good news is that we can be made holy to dwell with God through Jesus Christ, who opened up a permanent way back to Eden.
