The last of the seven feasts is the Feast of Tabernacles. It has four names, and each name adds to our understanding of the feast: The Feast of Ingathering, the Feast, Season of Our Rejoicing, and Sukkot (Tabernacles). And they all reflect two major themes of the feast: God’s provision and God’s presence. The Christian Thanksgiving Day is also a celebration of God’s provision and presence. How did God provide for you this year? Where in your life do you see God at work? When we recognize God’s provision and presence in our lives, we will be filled with gratitude.
