There are several things Job has in common with Jesus. I want to highlight two things: First, both Job and Jesus were used by God to defeat Satan. Second, both Job and Jesus endured their suffering with faith. In our own suffering, we can consider a cloud of witnesses like Job and the perfecter of our faith. Then we will not lose heart and persevere in faith. God will use us to defeat the works of the evil one.
