Paul’s letter to Romans is not easy to follow. What is Romans about?
Primarily, Romans is about the gospel that saves people. The gospel reveals God’s righteousness that can be received by faith in Jesus Christ. Paul’s secondary concern is to explain how the gospel can integrate both Jews and Gentiles into one new people. That is why Paul devotes three chapters (9-11) to the problem of Israel. The last part of Romans deals with how Christians can live out the gospel in daily lives. Faith comes from hearing. As we hear the message of entire Romans, I believe that our faith & love will be strengthened.
