The real test of our submission and devotion to Jesus is in our obedience to his commandments. Jesus calls us to a renewed life in Him because of what He has done for us on the cross and through the power of His resurrection. This renewed life is reflected through our mortal bodies in this world and it matters because God is using each one of us, who trust Him and surrender to Him, to be the light in darkness.
